This is a very well made butter mold. In use it was filled with butter, cooled, and the block of butter pushed out. Unlike some, there was no design carved into the mold.
The finish is good; very smooth and the dovetail joints on the corners are very well done. It is 5 1/2” long, 3 1/4” wide and 3 1/4” deep.
I can’t find any marks to indicate where it was made.
